It does exactly what it says on the can. Sour ale, and they do mean sour, aged in oak barrels with nectarines and peaches. Some wood, some funk. Getting peach aplenty, and I'm a sucker for that, just maybe a bit too sour to fully make it shine?

From a pint can. Pours a hazy gold with a small off white head. Aromas are of peaches and nectarines. Flavors are sour pit fruits.

On tap at Library Alehouse, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals gentle oak, mixed stone fruits, and a bit of wild yeast. Flavour is simple, with a nice gently juicy mix of stone fruits, light oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Mineraly, grainy character, with a gently sour, lacto-y palate. Not bad, but nothing special.

Can. Unclear orange golden, foamy head. Oak barrel notes, peach, funk, brett, unripe green apples, white balsamic vinegar, dry white wine, lime. Acidic sourness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry acidic sour finish. Nice!

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy yellow. Oak, funk, peaches, a bit of vanilla, sour, juicy. Really good and refreshing

The Aromas are dry grain, peaches and a little mineral. Flavors are similar to nose, tart, no vanilla that I could find, shaving cream and a touch metallic in the Finish. Okay body and strong carbonation. A little disappointed with this one.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/21/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of vanilla, peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of peaches, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of vanilla, peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy peaches, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, peppercorn, light musty/lacto funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of peaches, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tart/tangy/spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is an incredible fruited sour/wind ale. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of peaches, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, oak barrels, vanilla, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Amazing balance of juicy/jammy peaches, and Brett/bacteria complexity; with great oak presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

Cloudy, just a thin head. Ok, doesn’t look that great. Tart, a muddy yeast note, with a touch of peach, but it’s a fresh peach.
