Clandestine dimensions of spirited oak from a blend of bourbon and brandy barrels pour forth cryptic whispers of dark fruits and black treacle, balancing hushed tones of toffee and golden raisins.

Tasting at Ryan's, bottle
Dark mahogany colour. Nice aroma, malt, bourbon, spirit. It's full bodied, with sticky sweetness, and strong alcohol; nutty, it has enough malth dept, dark caramel flavour; and long, warming finish.
Excellent.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Pours with fairly syrupy viscosity. Dark brown with minimal light beige head. Brandy, bourbon, dark fruit, molasses, sugary, but not cloying, quite tasty, balanced.

Pours syrupy. The body is dark brown. No head. Lots of bourbon on the nose, brandy, so very barrely with a lot of big thick sugars. On the palate, very thick and sticky. So much sugar. Sugar tinted with brandy barrel, bourbon barrel. It actually seems simple, but simple with excellent flavours.

500ml (thx, Petr K,!) @ Ryan's. Vintage 2018. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: malty, dark fruits, quite sweet, caramel, brandy and some bourbon barrels. Taste: along the same lines, a bit boozy, lots of toffee and raisins. Overall: pretty nice.

Do these people make bad beers? Dark brown, almost no head. Heavy boozy smell of bourbon and brandy. Syrupy mouthfeel, extremely warming, comforting.Tastes heavy sweet, with plenty of raisin and dried fruit, and loads of both barrels.

Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a deep amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet grains and caramel with bourbon and a decent amount of vanilla backing. Flavor has sweet grains, caramel and apple with a bourbon and vanilla supporting.

Thanks Justin for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing amber brown with no head. The nose shows lightly forward notes of sweet barley wine. The palate is full bodied with no carbonation. Moderately sweet with a strong bourbon background with moderately intense notes of caramel, molasses, and a light bourbon smokiness with mild bitterness on the end. Strong alcoholic spiciness.

Deep mahogany color brown color. Massive big over the top brown sugars, burnt raisins, bourbon and vanilla notes. Oak is very restrained. Very nice, brown sugar, cherries, plums, burnt raisins, bourbon and light oak notes. Super full body, but amazing depth. Nice oak brown sugar and cherries in the finish. Nice stuff
