Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, caramel malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, fruit and spices. The finish is fruity up front with an herbal yeast and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

750ml bottle shared at GTMW ticket wait out 2014. Belgian tones but smooth and easy like a Cream Ale at times. A little buttery, grainy. A touch flat, thin, Odd nutty tones. OK...kind of.

Bottle - tasting at Willows Market. Pours clear golden with a small white head and decent lacing. Aroma is yeasty, fruity esters, hay, honey. Flavor is light sweet and little bitterness with a dry finish. Light body, prickly carbonation, little sense of the ABV. I enjoyed this one - simple, but nice

On tap at Toronado. Aroma is very ester forward. Lots of banana, bubble gum, and some of pear. Also a bit of phenolics - coriander. The esters have a floral quality to them as well. No hop aroma and just a hint of alcohol. Pours a cloudy golden hay with a white head that quickly recedes to the edges but then persists. No lacing and no legs. Tons of sweet malt; a bit of a graininess and faint caramel and candi sugar. After that this beer is almost all esters. No hop flavor and only a light alcohol note in the finish. The esters are bubble gum, banana, and quite a bit floral. A low bitterness helps clean the palate. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and medium carbonation. The beer has a bit of stickiness to it. Low astringency and medium high alcohol warmth. Overall this beer is alright but it's very sweet and definitely very full of esters. Could use something, but I can't put my finger on what it is, maybe just a bit more complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Capped 750 from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy light gold with a foamy/creamy 3 finger white head. Smells much like a tripel - yeast/spice, banana ester, light pitted fruits - all sort of dusty in the nose. Med minus body. Flavor is pronounced banana ester, followed by a quick disappearance of flavor, and then fruits and light spice pop up. There’s a funny cracker malt flavor on the back sides of the mouth. Which turns banana. A lightly flavored beer, but an interesting one.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are bready, biscuity, malty, floral and honey like. Flavors are of DMS, wet dog, malty, honey, medium sweet with light isoamly acetate (banana) and other esters. Lively bubbles, not quite a dry finish. Odd and a bit thin for the sweetness. Kind of lifeless.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Honey and yeast aroma with spice and a light fruitiness. Malt and spice flavor with yeast and light honey. Medium bodied. Malt and honey linger with spice and yeast.
