Pouring a dark chestnut brown with a khaki-mocha head, Chocolate Goodness announces itself with exhilarating aromas of Parisian-style chocolat chaud, dark chocolate bark, and luscious chocolate ganache. A sumptuous palate builds upon the nose revealing immersive flavors of chocolate mousse, dried dark berries, bright cacao nibs, and warm chocolate fondant. Full bodied with a faint chocolate bitterness, Chocolate Goodness has a silky mouthfeel and a mildly lingering sweetness that makes for a decadent and satisfying finish.

Poured from bottle thanks Stacey brown with black notes. Aroma is sugar, brownie batter. Taste is bitter chocolate, vanilla. Very sweet and thin for a stout.

750 ml bottle. Brown appearance. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, sugar. Flavor is unsweetened chocolate upfront, with a thinner body than I would have guess for a stout. Is this a brown ale with lactose or a stout? Too sweet overall.
