Wooden cask @ ACBF 2012. Oak and licorice in the aroma. Maple syrup. Alcoholic, roasty flavor. Sweet with maple syrup, licorice and coffee. oak aftertaste. Good!

Draught (Ölrepubliken, Göteborg) - Dark brown with a haze. Cocoa, coffee and liquorice in the aroma. Roasted, chocolatey and malty taste with notes of coffee and toffee standing out.

Appearance: Almost black color with a small tan head.
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate and mild fruity.
Palate: Full body. A bit dry, and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.br>Taste: Coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, light fruity and vanilla. Warming, not disturbing, alcohol.
Overall impression: Complex and tasty impy.

Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, on April 11, 2013. During the De Molen Tap Takeover event.Dark brown color, small tan head. Sweet, bitter, grainy, yeasty taste. Bitter, herbal, yeasty aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Oak, vanilla, sweet, malty scent.

On tap at the brewpub. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Lovelysmooth brew. Coffee and chocolate.

Tap at CBC 2012. Deep black in the glass, small head. Malty-roasty aroma. Starts intense malty, very roasty and woody, earthy notes. Hints of liquorice and strong coffee. Bitter-malty finish, dry aftertaste. Nice!

At Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Black with a small light brown head. intense peat smoke and medicine aroma, with a touch of licorice. Sweetish licorice and peat smoke flavour.
