Diepe donkere smaken met aroma’s van koffie, pure chocolade en subtiele tonen van vanille. Een fluweelzacht en romig mondgevoel zorgen ervoor dat het voelt alsof de chocolade over je tong glijdt. Echt een bier om een goede avond mee af te sluiten...of juist mee te beginnen. It’s up to you! EBC 100.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 5 May 2022) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with liquorice, dark chocolate, cacao and espresso. Malty, roasted taste with notes of liquorice, espresso, black bread, cacao, roasted nuts and a generous coffee bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Really tasty and well made imperial stout in good balance. Very nice.

Cremig malziger Antrunk, röstig, geringe Süße, Noten von Kaffee. Ab dem Mittelteil zusätzlich holzig, geringfügig bitter, vollmundig. Intensiv malzig bleibend, Bitterschokolade, Kakao, eher trocken, im Nachgeschmack unverändert. Gut! 11/12/12/12/9/12

Sampled at THT November. Almost black with dark beige head. Vanilla, roast, toffee, lots of chocolate, caramel, molasses, light nuts. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied. Tasty!
