From old tasting notes. Bright yellow gold color. Huge rocky white head. Intense lemon aroma. Tangy lemon and malt flavor. Little character or depth. More like a shandy.

Yellowish lager. Nose is a bushel full of lemons. Taste is smooth lemon, malt and citrus. Very tasty. One of the better beers I’ve had in this style. Rated 5/11/04

Bottle Pours a straw pale yellow. Hazy and with a nice full white head. Dry faint aroma of leamins and light malts. Flavor was lemony but like gatorade. Thin and light weght.

Crystal clear golden colour with a fast dissipating white head. Aroma of lemons, limes, caster sugar and a bit of wheat. Light-bodied; Super sweet flavour tasting like ginger ale more than a beer. Aftertaste sweet and short-definately a drain pour. Overall, not a great beer and not reccomended in the slightest. This was purchased to compare it with an authentic 'Rodler' served in Germany, but the beer failed miserably. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, D.C. and sampled it on 29-December-2003.

Bottle. Very sweet aroma. Highly carbonated (other's who said this is like a soda are not far off) with a watery flavor. Goes down easy, crispness at the end with a little citric acid tingle on the back of the throat. It's not a beer, but if you're not looking for one...

As fruit beers go, it's not half bad. It's not Kriek Girardin, but think about how many people you see drinking all that alcoholic lemonade crap. There's really no comparison. I've used this stuff to wean a few people off that drek in my lifetime. You should too.
