Deep golden in color with a rich malty aroma. Delicately smooth and crisp flavor and an herbal finish. Oregon Golden Ale is created from Northwest Harrington and Klages, and Maier Munich Malts (18% speciality grains, .19 lbs grain per bottle). Kent Golding and Cascade hops.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy white head spider webs as it slowly recedes. Resiny hop aromas. Crisp and full with dark caramel and honey upfront. Well balanced through the middle with a lasting pine hop finish.

Bottled as \"White Crane Bitter\" and this adds all of the confusion to it. Ratebeer has White Crane as an alias for Dead Guy... no way Beer advocate has it as an alias for this... and it seems more likely so I’m putting my rating here. Pour is an orangish amber with a little bit of a head and weak yet malty aromas. Flavor is thickly sweet and malty and an interesting departure from some of Rogues hoppier offerings.

22 oz. bottle shared by KAggie97 with myself and Zinister at the "Double Tree Houston" tasting. Pour is a cloudy orange (almost Cheddary (TM))with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is "Rogue" yeastiness with some citrus (oranges and lemons). Taste is malt in the start with a hoppy middle and a nice bitter hop finish. After taste is the yeast. Some light tart fruitiness in it as well. Probably should have started the tasting with this one!

Bottle; as White Crane. Primary aroma is of malt. Perhaps some light floral notes. Amber color with a white head that lingered to little decorative purpose. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Almost creamy. It’s really tasty, and it starts with light malt, followed by some floral, and perhaps light citrus, hop. The finish is a bit of light malt, but not really sweet, and there is enough bitter to satisfy. The finish is a little bit herb/veg, but for me it is lightly fruity. Good stuff.

Bottle courtesy of Okbeer: Poured a deep golden color ale with a nice medium foamy head with some quite good retention and some really good lacing. Aroma of cascade hops is providing some floral notes as well as some medium bitterness. Taste is mostly dominated by the mix of hops and I thought was lacing some malt characteristics. Body is not as full as I would have expected with some great carbonation. I personally think that this beer could have been more rewarding with a bigger malt profile.

Unclear golden with a small and disappearing head. Malt and cascade hops in the aroma. Fruity and hoppy flavour.

12oz bottle that has White Crane Bitter written on it. Pours golden with thin off white head. Very light aroma of floral hops and just a hint of malts. The flavor starts with floral hop bitterness. Then a sweet kind of sugary malt note joins in to create a pretty nice flavor.

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma. The body is thin and sweetish malty with a dry bitterness. Quite boring really. 240307

Unclear gold with white bubbly foam. Easy spicy & malty caramel. Good body fine balance. Pleasant, easy drinkable ale! This is good but not very interesting!
