Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong agave and pine. Thin mouthfeel with strong agave, pine, citrus, good.

8/12/13/12/9/12

500 ml bottle from Iowaherkeye. Nose is earthy, citrus, light amounts of alcohol (tequila), and a hint of pine. Clear dark gold with a medium light beige head that lacesa lightly. Flavor is woody oak, tequila, bitterness, and lemony citrus. Finishes lightly bitter.

Bottle shared by someone at Oakquinox. Pours with a hazed golden body and a small white head. Aromas are a bit vegital, pepper, hops, earthy, tequila. Doesn’t meld very well, but the flavor is a bit worse. Earthy, spicy, oak, bitter, spice. Lively bubbles. Confused (at least I am).

Sampled from the tap at NotB. Poured a clear gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a note of tequila but was mainly pine hops with a grain/bread backbone. Flavor had an interesting combination of pine hops and tequila with a bit of bread backbone. Enjoyed the tequila barrel aging.
