Pretty typical pale ale, straddling the line between american and english styles. Malts tend to slightly dominate the aroma and flavor, being somewhat buttery, or buttered caramel corn. Milder hopping is barely notable as cascades outside of a mild resiny bite. Finish is balanced, leaning towards sweet. Copper colored with a generous head.

Pours a slightly copper to gold with weak off white head. The head was reduced to a thin ring in under a minute. The aroma has some grapefruit hop notes and slight sugary maltiness. There’s also a slight off aroma but its too faint to really pin down. The flavor has an even mix of grapefruit hop bitterness and sweet sugary malts. On the negative side it seems a bit oxidized and watery. Passable pale.

Thanks to Illinismitty for sharing this one at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting held in Knoxville, TN on 3/10/2007. Thin white head over a hazy medium yellow body. Light citrus hop aroma. The flavor is lightly hopped with a good balance between the malt and hop components. This is muted somewhat as it shows some age, but has done fairly well for the style.

An orange beer with a dense light orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, and the hops also gives it notes of citrus and oranges. The flavor is sweet, yet somewhat acidic, with a hoppy note lingering in the background. The end is dry and bitter with quite a lot of grapefruit.

Bottle Pours a clear light orange amber with a modest pale head and wispy lacing. Sweet light malt aroma with some honey. flavors are like the littel cans of fruit cocktail I had as a kid. But with a little hops to balance it out.

Hazy reddish amber ale with a thick colapsing off-white head. Malty with more of a British hops aroma, discreet and pleasant, a bit of honey. In mouth, light sweet malt with balanced hops, a bit of an oily mouthfeel. Nice grapefruit notes develops as it warms. A decent pale ale. Bottle was received in Jan. 2005 from Degarth. Thanks!
