Bottle. Beer of the month club. Slightly hazy orange-amber color with a white head. Grapefruity hops aroma with piney notes and somewhat biscuity and caramelly malt notes. Flavor has some sweetish malt, and moderately bitter piney and citric hops. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a deep, orange-red with a medium, white head. Nose of caramel malts. Flavor starts sweet, with pleasant caramel and biscuit notes, then finishes with mild earthy bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation, this beer is very drinkable. Not terribly complex. One of the better Pale Ales that I can recall.

Bottle from beer of the month club. Pours orangish amber with an off white head that laces nicely. Aroma has citrus hops and is quite one note. Flavor has notes from the same citrus hops with an undertone of sweet malts.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma is lightly grainy with faint hops as well. Taste is fruity and a bit tin like. Minimal hops. Light bubbles and a dry finish. Not great.

This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head that lingered. The aroma was light sweet fruity hops and a touch of caramel and pine. The flavor was bitter, dryish and had moderate fruity and floral hops and a light nutty malt undertone. The finish was medium length dry bitter floral hops. Medium body. Decent.

Slightly hazy golden-bronze. Woody aroma, slightly appley with a hint of pears. Straightforward, hints of caramel, hop, maybe wood. Pretty bland.

Very clear golden coloured body with a light orange tint and a thinnish large-bubbled tan head. Aroma of soap, stale hops, cardboard, malt and very little else. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour up front with some good malt and a bit of soap/cardboard/metal following behind. Aftertaste shows a bit more funk - nothing pleasing at all from this. Overall, a sub-par beer, this one isn’t really worth trying! I sampled this twelve oune bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 11-December-2007.
