Cloudy brown beer. Crispish semi dry palate with low carbonation. Sweetish malt with a dry spicy undertone. Dark orange buried deep. Dry finish with an odd aftertaste. Mmm!

Bottle @ home, courtesy of TheBeerSommelier. 2:40 am, work at 9:00am tomorrow (err, today?), I probably shouldn’t be opening a sweet Allagash 750, but what the hell! Cork popped out like opening a champagne bottle. Pours a dark red-orange appearance with a cream colored head that dissipated quickly. Moderately spicy (nutmeg, cinnamon), caramel malty, dark sugar, Belgian yeasty nose. Pretty sweet, Belgian yeasty, caramelized sugar, light toffee, fig, light raisin, caramel malty flavor. Slightly spicy, caramel malty, caramelized sugar, dark raisin/fig aftertaste. Pretty awesome beer. I would expect nothing less out of one of my favorite breweries.

Wenig süßer und voller Malzantrunk. Dies wird sofort milder und wird etwas hefig. Das Bier wandelt sich nun nicht mehr sondern verharrt weitestgehend auf dieser Stufe. Wenig interessant, malzig-trocken, trinkbar. Danke an den Doppelbock für das Bier. 9/9/9/9/10/9

Thanks to BDR for sharing. Surprisingly, red in color. Lots of malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Fruit in the flavor with an herbal quality, along with oak. Well carbonated, lots of bubbles on the palate. Sweet with fruit, and just a little alcohol. I like this.

Bottled. A deep orange-red beer with sediment floating around under a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with primary notes of yeast and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, fresh fruits, and yeast, leading to a dry finish, where the alcohol leaves a slight burn in the throat. Nice body. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of pineypower. Clear, reddish amber with tiny impurities and an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose with a whiff of yeast. Quite a full body, sweetish caramel and fruit accents and again a hint of yeast. Very subdued bitterness. 160607
