Bought it as a joke plus the single bottle was dirt cheap. You get what you pay for. Pale yellow lager. Funky malt nose and taste. Rated 2/3/2000

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pilsener-golden with a fairly decent head. Very light in body with some malt sweetness and a very discreet bitterness. Quite ordinary Lager-type.

The selling point here is the bottle not the beer. This is really a basic Pale Lager - perhaps without the bitter skunk that pervades most of the beers in that style - but what we have here is at best a very bland beer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a straw yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is minimal but vaguely sweet. The body is thin and the flavor is pretty bland - but at least inoffensive. Corny and light with just a hint of malt- there is not much to this beer. Nyuk Nyuk

This is a drinkable beer, without a doubt. However, I really don't think I'll have the urge to drink another... it's really nothing special, and lately, I tend to focus on that special beer that I can never find (or if I do find it, I find a single, and buy only one to sample it and then nevers ee it again). Anyway, my rankings speak for themselves... pretty damn average all around. But it's not a bad beer.

Lakeport version: light gold colour. Slight cereal aroma but little else. Cidery flavour, grainy, with a hint of malt. No hops anywhere to be found. Rather wet.

Bottle. Begins quite crisp and hoppy surprisingly enough. The hops flavor makes way for a heavy grainy almost cereal malt that quite detracts from this opening surprise. Ends on a mildly sweet somewhat old barley malt note with some whispy hay and grass flavors mixed in with some of that apple lager flavor. Gets too heavy on the finish after 3 or so of these, but wow did this beat my expectations into the ground.
