22oz bottle at Matt's. Vintage 2014. Appearance: murky brown with a tan head. Aroma: dark fruits, sweetness, maybe a bit oxidized. Taste: along the same lines with a good bready character. Overall: quite good.

This is a 2014 vintage. Medium brown, with just a thin head. There's a lot of deep fruitiness, with a bit of alcohol, some sort of mushroomy notes and hints of nuttiness. I am not sure what this was like when it's fresh, but it has some interesting notes at this age. Light body, and some decent complexity.

2014 vintage. 22 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark brown with a reddish hue and a medium beige head. Nose is very oxidized, with lots of toasted caramel, burnt toast, and cardboard. Flavour is likewise indicative of being past its prime, with caramel, bready malt, and cardboard. Very malty and oxidized. Not too pleasant at this point.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head. The aroma is roasted bready malt and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with a nice roasted malt, dark chocolate and dark fruits, good.

Draft - Big malty grains almost Barleywine like. Clear caramel with a decent white head. Big grainy malts, sweet caramel and a long sweet malty finish. Really nice with a long sweet caramel finish. Desert in a glass.
