The series of experimental imperial IPAs continues. This one is hopped with ample amounts of Columbus and is reminiscent of… an Imperial Harlan?

Can (4/23/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Hazy orange with nice sparkle, large clots of yeast, decent head with excellent retention, good lacing. Aroma is strong pine and citrus pith with sparkling wine notes. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and dry, yeasty finish as taste. Good strength to aroma and taste. Nice look, outside of the yeast hunks, and exceptional palate. They get a lot out of Columbus but not a favorite hop.

Canned on: 04/22/25, 10 weken geleden dus.
Hoppy and fruity, a bit sweet. Stone fruit, orange, piney, bitter, smooth. Very nice.

Fruity, grassy and herbal hoppy with some pine, resin, hints of tropical notes, citrus and grapefruit, loads of bitterness in the finish. Pretty nice

Draught from el tigre. Poured a slightly tinted gold, lots of head. Fruity yet piney. Decent but pretty light for an iipa?

Can at home, from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 3rd March 2024. Pours a good looking hazy orange, inviting. Aroma is dank, resinous, aromatic, savoury. Taste is dank, resinous, complex, candied oranges and burnt sugar, pineapples candied, some tropical notes and light earthiness. Shit the bed it’s a good DIPA.

Growler fill. Thick as a bag, bright gold. Messy, dense, sticky, lasting, white head. Looks great. Nose has grapefruit rind. Peach stone. White pepper. Some strawberry. Notes of green hop. Some sweet, ginger biscuit malts. Taste is light, gingery sweet. Turns oily, piny bitter. Stunning mouthfeel. Juicy and oily and ridiculously drinkable. Finishes light, juicy, and spicy bitter. Fantastic.
