Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that faded fairly quickly and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy sugar, honey, pineapple, lemon and grapefruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy sugar, pineapple, grapefruit, bread and a hint of pepper. Long sweet pineapple and grapefruit finish. Medium body. Excellent!

OK, pours like a fine belgian ale that Iknow. In a 22 oz mug this 12 oz bottle fills it with a big massive rocky head. Smells like a very mild ipa. First taste is interesting and unique. Mind you, I don’t like rudely hoppy apa but this stuff has an funn attitude about it. Good fine sizzle is not quite above average yet it is pleasant. I’m gonna say this is one of the better apa I’ve encountered. Yes, has many of the attributes I find acceptable in a better belgian ale. Yes, right up at there at the top of my apa list, but not as good as indigo jester because that stuff is a little sour and wild.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, some lighter grassy and herbal hops and a bit of cardboard. Light-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hop notes with a pungent and slightly bitter malt flavour, some light cardboard, lemons and a tiny bit of spices. Aftertaste is potent in the grassy and herbal notes with little else - some pungent and funky cardboardie malt notes with some alcohol coming out and not much else. Overall, a rather strong and herbal/grassy APA with some nice notes and some rather mundane ones. Not really worth searching out for, but if you can find it and like the style, try it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-April-2012 for US$2.25 on 06-November-2012 the day that President Obama was re-elected, sampled here in Washington.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy yellow gold color. Fluffy white head. Clean light fruity malt aroma, hints of peach and citrus peel. Nice refreshing malt flavor balanced by a suble hop bitterness. Short-lived dry bitter finish.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 31 March 2012) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass, tropical fruit and passion-fruit. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, pale ale malt and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Could have been a bit thin, but the fresh and generous hop character makes it quite enjoyable.
