16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/9/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Feels like Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a nice sized bready pale/Munich malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made classic hopped style example.

Pours an only slightly-hazy, golden yellow, with smallish head. Very dank aroma, with tons of pine/spruce hops, some grass, some earth, a touch of gasoline. Flavor follows: very resinous, with tons of hop bite, some grassiness, gasoline, earth. This is a very bitter beer, with little in the way of citrus elements that I could discern. I guess once they perfected Sip of Sunshine, they decided they'd had enough of the NEIPA style?

16 oz. can thanks Heather B. Aroma is pine, earthy, honey, and floral. Don’t know what this was like years ago but it is way to earthy. Pine, soil, earth, tea leaves. Bitterness is odd. Not a fan of this one at all. Maybe I don’t like Columbus hops?

tall can from the new brewery. golden orange pale color, clear, 1 finger head. smells good. very resin-forward, pine cone, grass, tree bark. Thick, almost creamy mouthfeel, love the sharp carbonation and bitterness here. great pine flavor, even a little bit of juiciness at the finish.
