Bomber from Grape & Gourmet, VA Beach. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted, nutty malts, intensely herbal hops with some grassy and pine notes. The taste is toffee malts, some toast, apples, floral, grass and resin hops. Medium bodied. Fairly different and quite nice.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a large creamy off white head lasting awhile leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt with caramel and raisin. Thin mouhtfeel with a rich bready malt and light dry hop with lingering light bitter finish. Easy to drink a good English pale ale from Harpoon.

Deep amber coloured body with a light copper glow and a thin off-white head. Aroma of light, very low alpha acid hops with some wort and a touch of caramel. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong english (czech, I guess) hop note with some malt, toffee, caramel and a touch of light earthy maltiness. Aftertaste is relatively mild with an earthy, nutty and slightly low hoppy vibe. Overall, not such a great beer - but not horrible - some light hop flavours coming through but also some malt and a touch of sweetness. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC for US$6.99 on 28-October-2011 sampled at home in Washington on 16-January-2012.

Hay and dried leaves aroma with a savory teriyaki accent. Dark copper, clear. Medium body. Dried leaves, malty. Good, but nothing I would seek out.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 11/20/11
Aroma: The nose has a little earthy hop, spice, some orange, pine, and toast/bread notes too
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-brown color with a small beige head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste starts off medium malty sweet, and later comes a drier, spicy hop finish
Palate: The body is medium, it is smooth, and drinks decently, though the finish is a touch metallic
Overall Impression: This is a solid beer overall, but not great. The hop presence is pretty solid, and I didn't really find anything poor here, I just didn't really find myself loving it either. Still though, a very decent beer.
