Bottle. Copper, amber color. Slightly sweet malt flavor with just the right amount of hops. Not the best mai bock I have had but really good.

Burnt amber. Nose is basement must and sweet grape skins. Pine oil and thin watery mustard juice. Sorry brewer. This is just not good 1

Tap at the stags head. Pours copper with slightly sweet nose. Tastes of molasses, nutty, grainy, and of resin. Watery on finish but pleasant enough

22oz bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-slight molasses, pine/herbal. Taste is sweet light malt, tart lemon.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours reddish brown with tan head. Nose/taste of sweet malt, caramel and toffee. Nose also has molasses. Taste is mostly sweet malt with slightly sour malt finish. Medium body.

From tap at Gingerman. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, white and creamy head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight fruity. Mild malty, bitter and slight butterish malty. Sweet and yet and also bitter hoppy and roasted malty.

A reddish brown bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet mineral caramel malt, musty and dusty. In mouth, A smooth sweetish bock, nutty chocolate filling the mouth, nice. On tap at Boston Beer Summit, April 16 2011.

Sample, draught, trip to the Boston Beer Summit with Luc Bourbonnière, savoured on April 16 2011; eye: copper with a reddish hue, clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of beige head; nose: malt, light nutty, light dusty, slight fruity; mouth: malt, light nutty, light dusty, slight fruity, nutty finale with presence of caramel, medium body, good carbonation, mildly sweet, lightly cloying texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Échantillon, en fût, voyage au Boston Beer Summit avec Luc Bourbonnière, savourée le 16 avril 2011; œil : cuivrée avec une teinte rougeâtre, claire, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse beige; nez : malt, léger noix, léger poussière, très léger fruité; bouche : malt, léger noix, léger poussière, très léger fruité, finale en noix avec présence de caramel, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, moyennement sucrée, texture légèrement toquante; en résumé : correct
