Though retired, here’s my take: semi-golden yellow color with a quickly dissipating fizzy and semi-foamy white head. No lace.
The aroma had some corn sugars and sweet bread. The flavor was only sweet. The palate was light bodied, carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, I could name a ton of other pale lagers that way better, thanks for playing AB. Hope you guys continue to love the way your beers are rated on here. Keep smiling.

From Backlog. Pours pale yellow straw. Nose and taste of lightly skunked hops and skunked water. Some corn. Light body.

Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Creamy barley/roasted corn malt - reminds me of a Tijuana street tortilla (one might consider that good or bad - personally I’ve had some great times there). Strange that the light style has more flavor than the regular. Still, I thought the point of ice beers was to get a higher alcohol level.

5 dollars for a six pack, i dont know why 5.5 percent has to taste this bad has an overpowering corn taste to it. I just dont understand why all the ice beers are this bad, i have yet to have a good ice beer.

Another classic for which I had long been searching. Very excited to try this one! Very corn-like yellow pour, thin white head. The bud dry was good, but this one is a whole new ballgame. Definite sour/sharp alcohol and paint-thinner-like notes arise. Flavor is grossly sweet (not highly flavorful, but what’s there is corn-syrupy sweet) and very difficult to drink. Soured, skunked finish that tastes offensive even when cold. I guess it was just too much to hope that I could drink two good AB products in a row. If forced, I would gladly take Miller Lite Ice over this. Hmm, I think I’m getting slightly philosophical about macro swill. . . .
