22 oz bomber from HyVee, Ankeny, IA. Label also mentions brewing south corn stalks, also a good fermentable. Slightly toasty sweet corn nose under the cap. In the glass, more corn and malt Saison sweetness, with a bit of fruity esters and wheat malt. Cloudy yellow beer under a thin, transitory head. Taste is sweet, of course, mostly from the malt. The corn, of course, adds to the alcohol, but does not overdo it. Dregs of yeast in bottle add just a little bite at the end. Flirts on the edge of being cloying and "hot". Very likable result of trying different fermentation.

Bottle shared by John at my house. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of cornstalk, creamed corn, sweet corn, dry grain, earthy hops and herbal notes. Body on lighter side of medium.

12 oz bottle from Pepsican. Nose is yeasty, with notes of sweet corn, and grassy hops. Murky yellow with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is white pepperiness, a slight bitterness, and a slightly funky note. Not a bad saison.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of gooovikings. Thanks Jetson! Clear, golden yellow appearance with a sizable white head. Pretty sweet, light corn, pale malty, light barnyard, lightly fruity, Belgian yeasty aroma. Somewhat fruity, peppery, Belgian yeasty, corn, pale malty, light barnyard flavor. Not all that smooth. I’m not a fan.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was full of floral notes and light fruit notes with a bit of a corn note. Flavor began with sweet corn and was joined by light fruit and floral notes.

12oz bottle. Thin yellow-tan, with a slight haze to it. Funky lemon-lime sourness and wheat aroma. Really quite excellently executed, there is some slight corn flavor, but with the Belgian yeast and wheat it really melds together well. A light, funky, wheaty sourness in the aftertaste. Barnyard all the way, this is a pretty cool beer.
