Black pour, big beige head. Sweet, roasty aroma, notes of plums, and some stale hops. Wet paper and an odd soapy flavor are also quite prominent. The hops come through in the finish but are very subtle. Meh, nothing special.

Pours a dark brown colour with red highlights. Seems hazy. Beautiful creamy beige head that lasts long and gives out loads of lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, notes of molasses and raisins. The taste shows well the burnt malts with hints of chocolate. Decently hoppy with some grass. Body is kind of light for the style, so goes down easily and mouthfeel is a little oily. Not a bad impy stout !

Bottle: Poured a clear dark black color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with dry bitter notes with vegetables notes. Taste is also dominated by dry roasted malt with some light chocolate notes but also some overcooked vegetables notes with light green pepper finish. Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. Definitely too light for style with some weird vedgy notes.

Bouteille 500ml.
