Bottle. Pours blue green with lighter blue head. Almost fluorescent. Nose/taste of sweet corn, sweet grain and toasted cereal grain. Body is paper thin. Interesting beer nonetheless.

12 ounce bottle from Tiffany’s in Kalamazoo and shared at the 12th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 9/18/10. Pours a blue-green mouthwash color with no head. Big skunky notes when the bottle opened. Aside from that, a fairly bland beery like note with earthy and tea notes. Some crayons also. The taste is generic beer, faint skunk, some pale maltiness. Typical pale, fizzy weak lager. I’d prefer the mouthwash.

From dkachur @ 12th Richmond Gathering: Light DMS on the nose. Clear teal, turquoise head. Relatively flavorless. Entertaining idea, I just wish the liquid had some flavor.

Bottle courtesy of dkachur at the 12th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 09/18/2010. Very clear blue body with a small light blue head. Skunky and grainy malt aroma. Dry malt and grainy flavor with skunky notes. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Clear bottle thanks to swalden28 and ericandersnavy. Pours with a...clear blue body...fading white head...what the hell...seriously...
Aroma is sour, corn, salty and metallic. Taste is watery, cardboard and pretty horrible. Thin and watery ,outhfeel.

12 oz bottle with thanks to my mother. Pours teal (that’s right) with a light blue head. Aroma is rather skunky for a while, but also has sweet malts that take over eventually before themselves dying back quite a bit. Flavor is mostly nonexistent, giving just the slightest hint of pale malts present. No flavors also means no off flavors, leading to an all around verdict of "inoffensive" and leaving me having no idea how to assign some numbers. Unexpectedly by the end I think there’s some extent to which I’d rather drink a pale lager with some off flavors than one with no flavors, so I think this ends up at a 1.5.

bottle thanks to wavers1! Pours a blueish green with a thin aqua head that dissapates quickly. Aroma is slightly skunky with pale malt and corn. Pale adjunct flavors, corn, rice, some malt. boring finish wtih little to no bitterness. Interesting color, but not much as far as flavor.

Bottle from BevMo. This is brewed by Cerveceria Centro Americana, SA in Guatemala; the label remains as illustrated here. Pours a blue/green with a similarly tinged head. Aroma is a bit berry and grainy. Thinnish body with decent carbonation. Flavor is a bit grainy with very little hop. Hint of paper in the finish. Overall, it’s clean and nearly refreshing. Obviously Kirk’s leg was being pulled by Spock.

bottle courtesy of Thedm - I now add to the ever popular saying, "don’t eat yellow snow" the also important advice of "don’t drink blue beer". So yes, it pours blue with very little head. It has a mild aroma with some malt and nasty grain adjuncts. The very mild taste is corn and other unpleasantness. It’s probably a good thing the taste wasn’t any stronger as that would only be worse. The body is thin and watery and leads to a mild, astringent finish. Meh. If you have any bottles of this bad beer, I recommend selling it on e-bay as a collector’s item rather than actually drinking it.

Joeec5 brought this to the NYRBG, and I just had to rate it for the novelty of it - are you one of those weirdos that, from time to time, wonder what the weird blue fluid they float the combs in at the barber shop tastes like? Well, you can stop wondering.
