12 oz can from Total Wine - Naples, Florida. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a gigantic off-white head and annoyingly great retention. Great lacing. Mostly wheat ale aroma with very subtle melon notes. The watermelon notes taste a bit off, like it's not fresh. Canned 2/21/24. I think that's the problem. Muted, old beer flavor overall. Medium-light body. Low carbonation. Low bitterness. Not too good.

Hoping this can is more like a sour than a fruit beer considering its from odd side. OH my, when I pop it and pour it its just a big fat head, cant see but half inch on the bottom of the glass, was it frozen? Volatile and yet sterile alky aroma. Head is so big and foamy, mostly foam. Just a little beer on the bottom of my stand. Yes, so much foam, try to make sure its not going to go all over the table, whew. Taste? Well, i'm so worried about foam, can't get to the taste but yet I sense its is watermelonny. No, disappointingly not anything near a tart or sour, just watermelon beer. However, it has a really cool label, the eyes of the watermelon are very interesting 3D! There, you have it, not as good as expected, just another new fad watermelon beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/8/2015. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great yeast/malt/fruit balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a damn nice fruited wheat ale. All around great balance and robustness of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and very flavorful to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft at Odd Side. Clear straw body, thin off-white head. Light grassy nose, watermelon hard to discern with malt aromas wafting through the taproom. The body is light and grassy, nicely complemented by light, sweet watermelon notes. Simple but refreshing.
