Rule G is the railroad industry’s policy against drinking on the job. With tracks running right into the brewery, we spite Rule G daily. Outrageously dry-hopped, this beer has a big hop nose and a dry clean finish that accentuates its citrus and grapefruit undertones. It is a bold beer that can stand up to bold flavors. Drink it alongside spicy food and it’ll ratchet up the heat. We enjoy it with Mexican, Sichuan and Indian cuisine. A classic cheese pairing is with Stilton Blue Cheese.

Can from Kroger at rio hill. Pours orange with lots of carbonation, small head. Aroma of orange peel, pine. Flavor is pine, licorice, caramel, citrus. Taste is slightly burnt and I'm not digging the licorice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Pencil shavings, grass clippings aroma. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head. Strongly grassy, lesser lemon zest and honey. Medium to full body, easy carbonation, bitter. Drinks a little bigger than it is and is quite enjoyable. Doesn’t seem fresh, but the can date is good.

Nice clear light copper and golden coloured body with a very thin off-white head - only a centimetre tall. Aroma of fresh grassy and herbal hops with a bit of tropical fruits, some sweet smells noticeable as well and a touch of grain, perhaps rye. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive rye flavour at first with a large tropical fruit flavour and some very light hop notes coupled with a touch of citrus. Aftertaste is fairly fresh with some grass, herbs, tropical fruits and a little touch of malt as well. Overall, a good smelling IPA, and the flavour is nearly there, but not complex enough nor showing enough depth of flavours - just the front layers show through. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes, Virginia on 02-April-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 29-April-2016.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of dry caramel malts, floral and mild resin hops. The taste is caramel malts, bitter resin, citrus and candied citrus hops. Medium bodied. Nice.
