09/01/19 Can from Astoria Bier & Cheese. Mojito glass. Thick, dark yellow to orange, an almost fresh cider color. Fleeting spot of yellowed head. Smells of light lime, baked pie crust & a hit of zest. Taste is a yeasty, malty mass that is only vaguely lime-ish, & little else noticable. Actually threw an ice cube in to thin it out enough to enjoy somewhat, but that barely helped.

2nd August 2014
Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with mild nibbly carbonation. Smooth pale malts with a pleasant well integrated cream. Light pineapple goes well with a little dry lemon sherbet. Light dry finish. Nice job and unbelievably easy drinking, was pretty shocked when I checked the abv.

Sample from batch #200 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. The beer is a hazy straw color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pineapple, malt and yeast. Full-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, yeast and grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a subtle pineapple and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Pineapple, lime, and loads of tropical fruits. Another Pipeworks homerun!

Bottle shared with Yanick. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of grassy hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, lime and light malt. Lime is a little more pronounced than the pineapple. Medium body.

Draft pour on tap at Goose Island’s Belgian Fest 2013. I had no idea the base beer was a Belgian style. Milky pale yellow color. Aroma super tropical fruit with a beer base. Generally a lightly sweet pineapple juice with accompanying pineapple like hops popping out. I like it, fun stuff and not artificial or overly sweet.
