19.06.2013, cask @ The Ginger Man NY:
Basically no head. Aroma is sweet fruity, wine gum, red wine, grass, butterscotch, cardboard. Taste is fruity, still very dry, red fruits, oak, cardboard, grass, red wine, hay. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Not for me!

A reddish copper barley wine with a thin super lacing brown head. In aroma, a treacle vinous malt with smooth warming alcohol, light piney hops, a bit musky. In mouth, a nice smooth sweet caramel malt with treacle notes, floral and resinous hops, warming alcohol, nice. On tap at Rattle’n’Hum, Sept 21, 2012.

Location: Draft at RnH, 2/12/11
Aroma: The nose is malty, some sweetness, toffee, caramel, and fruity notes
Appearance: This one has a copper-red pour with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet with a light pine bitterness to it
Palate: The body is medium with fairly soft carbonation and a touch of heat
Overall Impression: Overall, this is just an alright Barley Wine. It isn't the most exciting example of the style nor is it one of the worst, it's just solid and drinkable. Good stuff.

Tap at Barcade. Pours a transparent, deep ruby. No head. Light malt aroma, some plum and fig. Flavor is light as well, more dark fruit, some mild syrup and toffee. Pretty sweet. Medium in body, light carbonation, alcohol presence is minimal. Overall it’s perfectly drinkable but I would say a little light for the style. Perhaps the most sessionable barleywine I’ve ever had.
