Poured for me by Cleetus at Fountainhead, in May. Zesty malt smell. A thin layer of tan foam on a schwartzer body. Aroma is guiding the taste, which is a dry stout more than a lager. Citrus hops, like everything these days, but malts become the main feature here. A nice dry finish topped with a bit of orange zest. Not exotic at all, just a very nice dessert beer.

Comb the dessert is a black patent malt roasty dark beer. This dark black pour was quite a decent roasty schwarz that had a somewhat acrid bitter quality to it - alright.

Bottle shared with Yanick. Pours black with off white head. Nose and taste of smoke, light roasted chocolate, citrus rind and burnt toast. Medium body.
