Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has light citrus and earthy pine with earthy grass and bread backing. Flavor has earthy grass and straw with light pine and a hint of citrus rind supporting.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Slightly hazy light orange with very small white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, low carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is herbal hops and pone hops.

12 oz. can, $1.99 single at Binny’s. Pale indeed. Except for a bit of unfiltered cloudiness, it could pass for a Bud with a big foamy head. Smell has lots of citrus and apricot from the hops, though, so Bud it ain’t! Drinks like a light lager, which is welcome in this kind of weather, Just a little malt that has been beaten down by the hops. Not just citrusy, but intensely bitter, too. Despite that, its lightness makes it an enjoyable drink. A perfect gateway for any noob who wants to know the difference between "regular" and "hoppy" beer.

Can from a mix-6-pack from Binny’s South Loop. A crystal clear light copper-gold pour with a wonderfully hoppy nose tropical fruits and dank resinous pine. Earthy pine bark bitterness with a fruity finish this is definitely a hop forward pale ale. My wife loved it and all I got were her leftovers!

12oz can. Pretty legit new school Pale Ale. Big foamy head on top of a hazy yellow-tan body. Clean golden malt backbone. Really displays the Simcoe hop well. Dry straw tones reminiscent of Amarillo, but with some of those tropical melon undertones that are so nice. Delicate but bold. Impressive beer, would love a six pack of it.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans, enjoyed at home on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Appearance is a cloudy bright gold with a rich frothy white head that laces to the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, pineapple, light hay, but really it smells more like juice than beer. Taste is also juice like, really heavy on the pineapple flavor, finishes with a light bitterness. If I was rating juice this would get good marks, but I'm not, but it's still not bad. Just not really ale-esque.

HOLY CHEESE batman! These are some nasty ass old hops in this beer. This should be a fresh 12oz can since this is the first time I have seen these around. Looks pretty, pale with a giant frothy head. Flavor has less cheese and maybe a decent beer lived somewhere in here but its a horrendous batch. Hello and goodbye Spiteful.

Draft sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Citrus and lime dominate with a good dose of malt. Great.
