A wicked favorite! We make this one with Simcoe, Citra & Galaxy hops along with a simple grist of pale malt & oats & fermented it warm with an expressive yeast. It’s totally unfiltered and popping with ripe Pineapple-Orange-Guava aromatics and a smooth, juicy flavor. Unfiltered and hazy as can be!

Tap into a whiskey glass showing hazy orange yellow with clean white foam lacing. The nose shows good notes of pineapple and mango. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of durian and melon with a light bitterness on the finish.

Poured up on tap over and over again at Mikkeller Bar in SF where it exhibits a perfect totally opaque murky deep papery gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up soft floral hops, grassiness and peachy grapefruit sweetened with sugary soft maltiness. The taste is smooth and nourishing with soft grassiness, grapefruit hops, sweet peach fruitiness and then getting thicker with pillowy soft sweet malts. Toward the finish it picks a grounding slightly bready cracker maltiness. Lovely soft rich and easy drinking. Yeah, I skipped a lot of ticks drinking this down but it was worth it.

Medium sweet flavor with a sturdy pale malt base, peach, tangerine, light grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with plenty of fleshy citrus, pale bread, low bitterness. Nice beer.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a very hazy pale orange color with a white head. The aroma is juicy. Big papaya, mango and pineapple. The flavor is creamy and fruity with some guava, pineapple and orange. It has a bready and lightly biscuity malt backbone. Low bitterness and creamy on the palate. Pretty much as advertised. A nice representation of this sub style of IPA.

The beer is a yellow tannish color and utterly clouded through. It’s a light color and I can’t even see through the edges. They may have served me trub. Small, soapy white head. Still think they just scooped this glass from the bottom of the fermenter. The beer smells like juice. Just straight up citrus fruit juice. Tons of orange, tangerine, pineapple, papaya, melon, peach, joy. This is one of the juiciest hop aromas that I’ve come across. The taste is juice. Pure juice. Pineapple, tangerine, melon juice with a little tropical-floral shading. Mild bitterness. Just oodles of hop flavor. Mouthfeel is light but full with a chalky, yeasty edge. Wonderful beer. One of the best that I’ve had from Cellarmaker.
