Bottle. Light reddish-brown. Medium size head. Seems to have more cranberry aroma than flavor. Most of the cranberry taste is in the after taste. Not a bad beer but won’t drink again.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had an auburn colored body with a small white half finger head that lasts throughout most of the beer, faded, spotty lacing.
The smell had cranberry, and there was some allspice in the background.
The taste was sweet, yet tart through the cherries, allspice is more subdued, light hops.
The palate sat about a light to medium, sessionable, sweet dry aftertaste and finish.
Overall, this is good for its style and I would have this again if I could get it again.

$1.75 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours brownish red with a tiny dusting of a head. Smells of cheap lager, cranberry, grape... almost a champagne smell. Tastes of heavy cranberry, almost candied, but not sweet. Finishes with a strong cheap lager taste.

Bottle at home. tulip at fridge temp. pours a 1 finger creamy head that doesn’t fade. Looks like burnt plums in the body. candied cranberry fake syrupy taste. tart on the nose. semi-sweet. Taste is very sweet up front, tart and dry at the finish. Middle is like cough syrup.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep copper color topped by a fluffy beige head. Aroma of toasted malt and sour fruit. Upfront, flavor is toasted malt and bitter fruit. Definately tastes of fresh cranberries, which are tart and bitter. Overall, a rather unusual paring of malt, hops and cranberries.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/19/12

Aroma: It has something cranberry-like that isn't exactly cranberry and something that is very medicinal (Robitussin?), the cranberry Robitussin overpowers anything else that may be present in the nose here...
Appearance: It pours a transparent reddish-amber color with a small off-white head and no lace
Flavor: The taste, much like the nose, is a rather unusual combination of sweet and medicinal
Palate: Light bodied, with average-to-soft carbonation, a cloying stickiness, and an unpleasant finish
Overall Impression: I'm sure this stuff would have made for great medicine in Chris Rock's house, but as beer it didn't work at all. No 'Mo Tussin Beer, and since I don't have anything else to say about this one:
"l broke my leg, Daddy poured Robitussin on it. Yeah, boy, let that 'tussin get in there. Yeah, boy, let that 'tussin get on down to the bone. The 'tussin ought to straighten out the bone. lt's good. If you run out of 'tussin, put some water in the jar, shake it up, MO 'TUSSIN!"
