Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. Pours tarnished brass with a creamy white head. Aroma is slightly bready with noticeable spicey/grassy hop. Ok. It’s grassy in a herby way. It’s a bit corny. Seems to have the right pieces, but at least one wrong piece. And I’m not really thinking I enjoy it. Tho thinking I should. Weird.

12oz bottle pours clear gold with a moment of a loose white fizz. The aroma is faint at best with a sense of floral hops. Another pull on the aroma reveals nothing at all. Smells like a clean empty glass. How is that possible? The taste is thin and neutral initially and then moving into light grains, corn and a sense of floral hops. This brew leaves a subtle whimper of floral hops and just echoes of grains and corn into the finish. The taste isn’t too different than clean tap water.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow golden with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is corn malt with honey and citrus. Decent spotty lacing along the glass. Medium mouthfeel with a corn malt and honey. Not much going with this pils from Indian Wells.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a thin head that leaves a little lacing. It has a mild, grainy malt aroma. The flavor is of corn malt and some very light hops. It’s light bodied and just a decent quaff.

Sample at Alan’s HSC initation. Bottle from Whole Foods in Henderson, NV. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin and foamy white head that recedes slowly. Stringy lacing. Sweet malt and corn in the nose. Light-bodied and sweet with grainy malt and mild hops flavors. The finish is mildly hoppy with a touch of pepper and spice aftertaste. A below average Pils overall.

Bottle from brewpub via my friend Pete; nose of hay, grain, and a background hop note; slightly hazy yellow with a small white head; flavor of a peppery maltiness, with some sweetness, and a mild hop bitterness left for a finish in the medium body. Pretty decent drinkable Pilsener!
