Mix a six from Krogers, looked curious enough. Pint glass at the BNB. Jellied, dull, medium gold pour with a seemingly frozen off-white head. Frosted Flakes & milk nose, honey floral. Milky sweet but the honey is a bit too floral. Slight crusty astringency, bigger than expected acid, not too starchy, oat-y finish. Not the usual dumpster fire from Martin House.

12 oz. can from HEB, San Antonio, TX. Pours a hazy gold color with an off-white head and good retention. Very few spots of lacing. Light grainy lager aroma. Fairly standard pale malt flavor with strong honey notes in the finish. I guess it does taste a bit like Honeycombs cereal. Black currant and mint? Nope. Not as grainy as I expected. Slick mouthfeel with low carbonation. Not bitter. Okay overall.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy gold with frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is grain and wheat. Thin body, citrus and toasted grain, light finish, good.
