Growler - turbid glowing orange - looks like unpasturized apple cider - semi-dry, biscuiy aroma, with spicy hops, light banana phenols, apricot - flavor starts off fairly sweet, with some citrus and banana notes - dries out through the middle, with a pronounced biscuit and gingerbread character - some dusty yeast - some potent, spicy hops arrive as the beer dries, adding additional depth and kick in the finish - a nice marriage of belgian and american brewing styles - quite tasty - I am going to have to try some more of their beer while I’m in town.

Growler at the Funky 6. Pours a rich, cloudy orange with a moderate, white head. Belgian yeast aroma with spices, bananas and some citrus. Flavor is fairly sweet and fruity, with further notes of bananas and pears, along with some citrusy, piney hops. Medium in body with smooth carbonation and light resin. Finishes sweet and rather hoppy with modest drying. Very nice.
