My Unblended labeling will be single barrel releases of barrels that I find are just too good to blend and offer a unique experience on their own. Barrel #40 is the first barrel in my inventory that I have found to be this way. It started life as a Chardonnay barrel that I filled with a batch of coolship beer (100% spontaneously fermented) that I brewed in the early part of 2013. This was Barrel #40 in my inventory and is now its own, single barrel release.

375ml the only existing bottle (thx, Farees!) at Kump's during non-Belgian lambics tasting. Pours a hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is lots of lacto with some salty fish notes. Similar taste. Probably too old, but it is still interesting.

375mL bottle (the only bottle ever), pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly floral, with perfume, wood, and wild yeast. Flavour reveals wild yeast, with some lacto, light perfume, stone fruity pith and light acidity. Lacto-y palate, with low carbonation. Very fun to try. Good stuff.
