Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours copper with a fizzy off-white head. Smells like an amber in oak. Med body. Flavor is light treacle with wood/vanilla. It’s slightly raw whiskey, slightly sour fruit, and then it goes back to treacle. This doesn’t really fit anything I’m familiar with. Abbey Dubbel? Ok. If the brewer says so. It’s finishing like oak extract with dilute treacle. Coming in like non-acidic sour. If that makes any sense. Making my mouth feel astringicated. I’m likin it.
