12oz bottle pours a very murky orange with some thin, white head. Nose is mostly orange and pine sap, some grapefruit, some soap, some malt, candy sugar. Flavor has a huge punch of bitter grapefruit, blood orange, lemon, very sticky pine sap, herbal soap, honey comb. Sticky, bitter finish. Heavy.

Bottle, thanks to JStax. Pours a flat caramel color with minimal head. No real lacing. The nose is sweet and citrus filled at first with a lighter floral presence. Some resin. Sweet taste is citrus and caramel malt. Not bitter at all, but has good hop flavors. Refreshing, but relatively unexciting.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Wexford, PA. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of resin and citrus hops with caramel malts. The taste is toffee malts with citrus, resin and earthy hops. Medium bodied, decent balance, slight booze.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber orange color. Small creamy beige head. Resiny pine hop aroma. Toasted caramel malt flavor is overpowered by the aggressive pine and citrus hops. If you’re a hop head, you will love this. Hops rght through to finish. Sweet malt backbone helps to balance this ale somewhat.

On tap at poor richards. Looks like a pale lager. Head fades rapidly. Smell is of course quite hoppy floral. And yes, the flavor is quite hoppy; big bitter impact that tells me it is double IPA. Way too much for this lager lover but really on style. Over the top and rude to the finish. Ruined my taste buds fer sure. Mouth coating oily soap terrible IPA, again on style.

Bottle. Pours a murky light brown/dark amber with floaties and little head. Aromas are a mix of grain dust, pear and fruit and medicine of some sort. Flavor matches the appearance’s murkiness. It’s got a heavy handed grain presence with sweet fruit and a big herbal/medicinal hops presence before fading back into a sweet finish on the palate. Maybe it’s not my night, but this seems pretty uninspired.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub in North Huntingdon this beer poured a cloudy orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy khaki head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was strong pine and grapefruit and light pineapple, lemon and pepper. The flavor was sweet and tangy pineapple, grapefruit, orange and pine with a fairly strong malty caramel base and some noticeable alcohol that somehow worked well with this one and a strong spicy undertone. The finish was long, tart and tangy with lingering mixed citrus and pine. Nicely complex and fairly full bodied. Interesting.
