Bottle shared in NYC. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has expressive Belgian yeast, herbs, pepper, some lemon. Light to medium sweet flavor with some biscuity sweetness, subtle funk, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, pretty clean, some dry bread, straw, more rindy citrus. Nice herbal qualities. Solid.

Bottle at Paul’s. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose/taste of pear, citrus, stone fruit, saison yeast, hoppy citrus and a light touch of funk. Brett should develop nicely in a few months. Medium body.

At the brewery: Pours golden with a white head. Nice citrus with brett and dry hoppy aroma. Plenty of bitter hops at the front of the beer, with are quite dry. The beer then gets to be more fruity and citrus after the initial hop bitterness. BTW, this should be shifted from Golden/Blonde to Belgian Ale, for this is a quintessentially American Belgian Ale.
