Wisconsinite: the most Wisconsin beer ever! Made with 100% Wisconsin-grown malted barley, wheat, and hops, including a unique, first-of-its-kind, never before fermented, indigenous Wisconsin yeast strain. It pours a hazy, unfiltered, straw color with a fine white head. The mild clove, banana, and citrus aromas from the Wisconsin yeast go well with the malty sweetness and fresh baked wheat bread flavors. With its light body and lively effervescence, Wisconsinite is a refreshing summer session beer.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy pale golden color with a thin white head. Wonderful yeasty bready wheat aroma here; thanks to the all new Wisconsin yeast strain. It’s what this beer is all about. Banana and clove notes are a bit subdued for the style (which I like). Highly carbonated with a light somewhat creamy mouthfeel. This is what the local food movement is all about. Lets hope more brewers experiment with this idea and use this new yeast. I could imagine some wonderful things coming out of this.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed on a hot summer day in St. Germain, WI. Appearance very cloudy gold with little to no head, tiny white bubbles around the rim. Aroma of clove, belgian yeast, light bit of honey and sweetness. Taste is nice and sweet, honey notes, light carbonation, a little bit syrupy, not bad though, decent stuff.
