Blend of 1-, 2- 3- and 4-year old lambic - 4-year old component at least 25% of the belend -, all fermented and lagered in oak barrels and vessels. With Doesjel, the wild fermentation of the young lambic did not continue throughout the bottle conditioning as the yeast "dozed in" ("ingedoesjeld"). This beer has no head, just like lambic so please don't panic.

Season 19|20 (blend no. 41) bottle from Livonia Liquor shared with Adam over a bowl of ramen. Still 4 year blended lambic from Drie. Pours a deep gold with very little to no carbonation. Lovely oak, vanilla and cobwebs on the nose. Similar on the palate with some gooseberry and apricot notes as it warms. Good body with lingering wood and funk. RIP Armand.
