Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a slightly transparent golden yellow color with just a cap of a little white head, slides off fairly quick. No lace.
The aroma had some acidic hints of sour-ed citrus and white grapes. Some cucumber sweet freshness with a little bit of tang at the end.
The flavor was sour all of the way through with some of the \"sour-ed wheat\" trying to come through. There’s no kick from the wheat, but the sour and the cucumber end up being in the aftertaste ever so subtly. Not much of a finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a slight sipping to almost sessionable feel about it. Carbonation was fine allowing the sour to be the harshness in this beer.
Overall, I’d say this was a fairly decent shot at the style by an American brewer to even show some creativity. I’d have again.

Location: Draft at Croxley's, 7/29/14

Aroma: Smells pretty much exactly like pickle juice, which makes sense, since it's a cucumber sour
Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a small head and minimal lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, straight pickle juice overpowering everything else
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, and an odd finish
Overall Impression: This ain't my thing, but I don't like pickles. My wife liked it more than I did. I would definitely not drink this again, but I can't go too low on the overall score either, because I think it's a noble effort, just not one that works for this particular drinker.

A pale blonde weisse with a thick white head. In aroma, classic lemony malt with light lactic notes, nice. In mouth, a smooth light weisse with lactic notes, cherries, refreshing. On tap at Covenhoven.
