The name Prussia originates from Frederick the Great. Frederick was trained to brew this very delicate style of beer and later became the King of Prussia. Our interpretation of the Berliner Weisse style is very traditional. Prussia pours a hazy straw hue with a nice clean tart finish. Enjoy alone or with flavored syrup.

Bottle thanks to Astros guy. Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. The aroma is tart fruit, dough, oak. Thin mouth, tart lemon, dough, very crushable, decent.

Bottle. Pours violet gold with white head. Nose/taste of lactose sourness, lemon, sour banana, sour wheat and some light sour orange peel. Light bodied.

Bomber. Pours clear gold with a very large fizzy head. Aromas are of soggy paper and a hint of lemon. Flavor is fairly similar... kind of a flabby papery flavor up front that transitions to just a hint of tartness and a kind of metallic edge. Iโ€™m not sure if something just didnโ€™t work with this particular batch or whether 4 Hands just makes a lousy Berliner Weisse.

Refrigerated brown bomber from BMart poured into a trappist glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is slightly tart wheat, light body, medium carbonation which dies very quickly, and little lacing. Taste is tart soft wheat. Expected more flavor.

Bottle @ Arminโ€™s place, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks! Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a huge bubbly white head. Spritzy, lemon lime soda, vanilla, highly carbonated aroma. Juicy lemon, lightly lactic, lemon, spritzy flavor. Pretty decent.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a very musty wheat note a touch of lemon and other earthy fruits. Flavor has light wheat and semi tart lemon up front but finish is full of wet grains and musty wheat.

BIF bomber from Sethdude - thanks for this. Pours light dirty perry color with a 4 finger fizzy white head. Aroma produced a shudder - seems sour. Med body. Flavor is sour/tart. In a light way. Finishes a little wheaty/tart. Some light citrus. Very pleasing.

22 oz bomber given to me by my in-laws. The pour is a hazed yellow gold in with a one inch noisy white head. The aroma is wheat grain, lemon peel herbal and a bit of tartness. The taste is more tart than sour, though that sour tart calms quickly. Behind the tart is wheat grain and along with a noticeable diacetyl in the back. The palate is light to almost thin bodied, lower carbonation level and initially a bit of a buttery finish. The diacetyl calmed a bit as the beer warmed. Love to see a semi-local Berliner.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hard to detect. Some citrus and a bit of wheat malt. Flavor is a little better. Lemon citrus bitterness with a decent malt base. Not as bitter and complex as the others that Iโ€™ve had of this style. Probably a beginners Berliner Weiss.
