Poured from a 750 ml bottle. I’m not sure why this is a separate rating from Imperial Vin Bu: Merlot though. Aroma has some acidity to it with some light citrus and pineapple notes. Moderate grape notes with some grape must and tannins as well. Some light oak notes. Pours a fairly clear, amber color with some golden hues and a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin film that lingers across three quarters of the surface. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness and a mouthwatering finish. Light citrus and pineapple notes. Moderate grape notes with some must and tannins. Light oak and wine notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high to high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice berliner with a moderate grape note that really doesn’t overwhelm the base beer at all. Nice characteristics from the barrel adds some complexity.

Bottle share. Deep purple color, thin white ring of head. Fruity nose, but a little bit hot... Kerosene?! Sour, fruity taste, light earty funk. Odd. Finishes a little soft with wheatcand sour.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out red wine barrels, some acetone, and red grapes. Flavour is fruity and vinous, with grapes, oak, acetone and vinegar. Well-balanced and light, but still not overly drinkable. Decent stuff.

Bottle Bobby brought to Where the Wild Beers Are. Different from the Imperial Vin Bu Merlot as this is aged in Oak and not wine barrels. Pours reddish pink. No head. Nose/taste of funky acid, oak, funky lemon, grape and sour funk. Lighter medium body.
