Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is interesting, but the hop character has definitely faded. Some red apple cider esters. Moderate hop notes, but they have faded from bright and fruity and are now floral, woodsy and spicy. Light malt notes of caramel and toasted bread. Light citrus notes are present as well as some oak. Pours a murky, brownish red with a large, frothy, dark tan head that recedes to a quarter inch thick head that lingers for what seems like forever. Flavor has a moderate acidity with some medium light citrus notes. Moderate red apples with some light caramel and toasted bread. Medium light oak notes. Hops have a bit more citrus to them but some light woodsy, spicy notes are starting to show. Medium high bitterness. Some light tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this may have been a bright and hop forward beer, but the hops are turning making this a bit disappointing. It also seems fairly bitter; too bitter. I’m not really a can of the red apple notes either.

Another delicious De Garde brew at the 10k tasting. Ruby golden color. Nose is of spicy hops and fruit. Tastes of cherries, grass, lemons, bready, resin, slight herbaceous, and wetndank finish. Didn’t get sick of all these getting popped.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong grassy hop and funk. Medium mouth, nice spicy hop, light oak, very good.
