Appearance is pale with hues of straw and aromas are sweet of candied orange and red apple. Through mixed fermentation and assertive dry-hopping comes a unique and complex balance of tart fruity esters, elderflower, and spice, tapering to a dry finish.

Tart, slightly funky, slightly sour. Very interesting and worthwhile.

Slightly sweet, something a bit candy like. Not completely convinced, but it’s quite nice.

Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with white head. Lots of yeasts, some lacto, very mild brett, light floral notes, touch of hops, light cracker malt. Quite nice.

Pours with huge foam, very stormy swirling carbonation, beautiful gold body. The aroma is soft sweet coriander, lemon peel, peppery grain with a hint of cane sugar. Flavour is peppery grain, hay notes, soft barn funk, sweet lemon zest. Oily and crisp, alcohol invisible, soft bitterness. Excellent.

750 mL bottle, corked. Much thanks to mcberko for the bottle. Finally found a decent occasion to open this up! Golden orange pour with plenty of fizz head. Brett yeast steady aroma, floral, with some orange fruit. Flavor is a bit juicy, slight straw grain, strong Brett and lacto flavor finish. Limited spice covered by fruit and yeast. In no way a typical saison here. All the flavors seem to go together perfectly here. Floral, fruit, yeast. Very nice beer here.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of Brett notes with dry hoppy notes and rustic malt notes is quite exquisite. Taste is a super nice mix of rustic malt, Brett dry notes with some light funky ester and a dry hoppy finish. Body is full with perfect carbonation. Superb saison and another gem form this brewery.
