Bottle shared at the brewery during RBWG 2015. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a small, off-white head. Dense, rich, chewy, notes of ripe fruits, toffee, figs, dates. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more ripened dark fruits, toffee. Very enjoyable.

Bottle split at the brewpub during RBWG ’15 pourin buse day, 20/02/15. Murky chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is sticky toffee pudding, spice, dates, subtle barrel, fruit loaf. Taste comprises rich malt, dark fruit rinds, figs, Xmas cake, dates. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Ok BA BW but doesn’t really deliver the depth the ABV demands.

Enjoyed at the Rapp brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. Poured via bottle where it exhibits a murky brown body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The inviting aroma offers up nectar sweet malts, molasses, smooth sweet soft bourbon and vanilla notes. Lovely. Wow. The taste is wonderfully similar as it drips with pillow like softness. I get smooth sweet soft bourbon notes, a molasses to nectar sweet maltiness and then modest yet involved sweet dark fruity esters. Just a wonderful sipper. This is really hitting the spot. Well done.
