Bottle shared in NYC - picked up at De Cicco’s. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. Nice aroma, some piney hops, marmalade, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor, light alcohol notes, some rindy citrus, ole bread, crackers. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with some resinous hops, further crackers pale malts, ripe citrus. Tasty beer.

22 oz. bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, much thanks! Clear orange color with thin head in the snifter. Aroma is mangos, dried peaches, candi oranges and a light floral note.

Flavor is real malt heavy with the hops being hidden under the sweet flavor. Light traces of the fruit upfront with a huge amount of malts knocking down any floral or grass notes trying to get through in the finish. But the grass and floral hints are here. The ABV is hidden under the sticky malts. Good but if the malt was dialed back a little it would improve my feeling of it.

My 3600 th overall rating.

Pours deep gold into a snifter. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Hot caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Dark, hot bitter earth and sour vegetables front to back.
