Poured from a bottle. Aroma is very berry forward with nice, bright, boysenberry notes along with some light tannin notes. Hints of oak. Light citrus and tropical fruit with a bit of acidity. Pours a purplish red with a medium sized, moderately thick, pink head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with some medium light lemon notes and lighter pineapple character. Light oak notes with some berry skin tannins. Moderately strong boysenberry notes, but not sweet and jammy. A light phenolic note as it warms, possibly attributable to the berries. Low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium to medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer. Good berry notes, but the base wild beer still shows through. Speaking of the base beer, the acidity isn’t too sharp or harsh.

750mL bottle, pours a dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma is very acidic and earthy, with tart berries and dirty earthy notes. Flavour is dry, tart and earthy, with tart dark berries, earthy notes, and oak. It's got that earthy De Garde quality that many of their beers have, detracting a bit. Not bad, not the most complex, but certainly pleasant.
