(Can, 0.355l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20230518) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and creamy coffee. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. A delicious burnt brew with pleasant coffee notes.

Received in trade from josh, thanks for the opportunity, Inky black without much of a head. Big roasty licorice and sweet caramel and brown sugar. Not the hop onslaught I was expecting but the can is more than a year old. Thick and sweet and barely carbonated. Nice sipper.

Bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Had this side by side with some barrel treatment aswell. Nose is nice chocolate roast malts coffee and some ash. Taste is more of the roast coffee chocolate notes and some light fruit notes.

Bottle at the 10th Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Very dark brown pour with a sturdy cap of tan head. Heavy aroma of bittersweet cocoa, roast, and coffee. Sturdy malt base and lots of roast, a little chocolate and light bits of pit fruit, a nice hop presence too.

Bottle, thanks for sharing. Pours near black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy dark grains with light roasted malts and some bitter chocolate. Flavor has dark grains, roasted malts and a bit of earthy bread backing.

Bottle. Black. Malt, and a moderate roast. Flavor is a littlensweer and blends well with theriasted malt flagors which I really enjoy. There is also an anise flavor and some dried fruit.

Bottle thanks to Andrew. Pours black tan head. Nose/taste of coffee, roast chocolate, malt balls and earthy piney citrus - medium body. Almost more of an imperial black IPA.
