Inspired by an incredible Pad-Thai dish. We custom blend our own peanut butter, with flaked coconut, coconut oil, Thai chili peppers, and dry hopped cilantro. This beer is spicy! The peak of Right Brain’s culinary obsession, this beer tastes very similar to a traditional Pad Thai.

On tap at Right Brain. Pours a murky brown with a white head. Low aroma of peanut and chili pepper. Flavor is strong on the peanut, with some toasty malt and chili pepper that leaves a mild but lingering burn. It's tasty but the strength of the peanut makes it a bit too one-note for me.

16 ounce prowler into tulip glass, filled on 11/4/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep ruby reddish copper/light brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big caramel, brown sugar, peanut butter, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of cilantro, coconut, chili pepper, toffee, roast, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bread/light roast malts, peanut butter; and light-moderate pepper, coconut, spice, and fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, peanut butter, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of cilantro, coconut, chili pepper, toffee, roast, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/roast bitterness and pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, peanut butter, brown bread, toasted biscuit, cilantro, coconut, chili pepper, toffee, roast, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bread/light roast malts, peanut butter; and light-moderate pepper, coconut, spice, and fruity yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.9%. Increasing pepper heat after the finish through the glass, but not overwhelming. Overall this is a very nice spiced English brown ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bread/light roast malts, peanut butter; and light-moderate pepper, coconut, spice, and fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the very mildly bitter/spicy finish. Not as spiced up as expected, but really enjoyable stuff. Great balance of rich malt complexity and PB presence; with the coconut, spice, and chili peppers coming out in the background. Spot on base style example, with mild bitterness and restrained yeast fruitiness.

Draft. Peanut butter, malt and light cilantro/pepper aroma. Amber with moderate head. Chili pepper, peanut butter malt, and coriander flavor. Chili pepper burn lingers in the finish. Unique - would have loved to pair this with food.
